Baobab Fruit Pulp

Dry, chalky white fruit pulp with the highest antioxidant capacity of any whole fruit — 10x more antioxidants than oranges, 6x more vitamin C. Extraordinarily high calcium, potassium, magnesium, and prebiotic fiber. The ancestral superfood that predates all Western 'superfoods.'

Why it is ours

The Tree of Life is not a metaphor in West Africa — it literally sustained life across dry seasons when nothing else grew. Griots kept records under baobab trees. Healers stored medicines in their trunks. The fruit was the pharmacy. It is available NOW on Amazon for $15/bag. Your ancestors' pharmacy, delivered.

What it does

Baobab pulp is among the highest-prebiotic fiber foods ever measured, feeding Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus selectively. The calcium density provides dairy-equivalent calcium for the lactose-intolerant Black American population (70%+ prevalence). Vitamin C at 280mg/100g combined with prebiotic effect creates both immune and gut-repair protocol. Potassium at 1240mg/100g exceeds banana 3x — directly relevant to sodium-sensitive hypertension.

How it is cooked

Available as powder in health stores and online. Mix 1-2 tbsp in water, smoothies, or porridge. Slightly citrusy, mixes well with orange juice or fruit smoothies. Can be stirred into yogurt or kefir.
