What it does

Meta-analyses show black seed oil reduces systolic BP 4-8 mmHg and fasting glucose significantly in T2D. Thymoquinone is a potent bronchodilator for asthma. Immunomodulatory effects relevant for lupus and MS, which disproportionately affect Black women.

How it is cooked

Black seed oil: 1 teaspoon daily in warm water or honey. Whole seeds: add to bread dough, salads, or yogurt.
